ATLANTA (April 28, 2026)—Fulton County Superior Court is celebrating two outstanding public servants in its Pretrial Services Division. Garell Brown and Deborah Singleton were both honored with a Fulton County Focus Award for their dedication.
Brown was picked in the Efficiency category because of his ability to deliver results with "precision, purpose, and impact," according to Superior Court leadership. Brown's approach is said to strengthen court operations and set a high bar for others to follow.
Singleton was awarded in the Above and Beyond class due to her "consistent willingness to exceed expectations when it matters most." She was particularly lauded for her skillful caseload management of youthful offenders charged as adults.
"Your efforts make a meaningful difference in our day-to-day work and contribute to sustained success across the division," said Marlon D. Greathouse, deputy court administrator who oversees Pretrial Services. "You both serve as shining examples and beacons for our department, demonstrating what excellence in leadership and performance truly looks like."
Fulton County Focus Awards are internal accolades for employees who demonstrate exceptional service, innovation, safety, and dedication. These peer-nominated awards honor staff who significantly impact county operations and service to citizens.
